Website Opener opens your websites via the default web browser. If you have one browser on the computer, it will work as your default web browser. If you have two or more (Firefox, Chrome, Internet Explorer or Opera), only one of them will work as your default web browser at a time.
What does the default browser mean? The computer "default" is "what the computer is set to do until you change it." The default web browser is a browser that is set to open Internet-related files on your computer or the web by default. You can change the default browser manually.
You may like to see your websites open with Website Opener via Firefox. You may like to see them open via Chrome, Internet Explorer, Opera or Safari. The following is simple instructions how to set Firefox, Chrome, Internet Explorer, Opera or Safari as default web browser.
To set Firefox as default web browser
1. Start Firefox.
2. On the Tools menu, click Options. Click the below picture to see in details how to set Firefox as default web browser:

3. The Options dialog box will open in a new window.
4. Click the Advance tab and then below it the General tab.
5. Locate the System Defaults section at the bottom.
6. Find there the Check Now button.
7. Click Check Now.
8. Click Yes.
To set Chrome as default web browser
1. Start Chrome.
2. Click the wrench icon on the browser toolbar and then Options. Click the below picture to see in details how to set Chrome as default web browser:

3. The Options dialog box will open in a new window.
4. Click the Basics tab and then locate the Default Browser section at the bottom.
5. Click "Make Google Chrome My Default Browser."
To set Internet Explorer as default web browser
1. Start Internet Explorer.
2. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
3. The Internet Options dialog box will open in a new window.
A. For some versions, follow these steps:
4. Click the Programs tab.
5. Click Make Default.
B. For other versions, follow these steps:
4. Click the Programs tab and then locate the check box "Internet Explorer should check to see whether it is the default web browser."
5. Select the check box and close Internet Explorer.
6. Restart Internet Explorer.
7. You will see the message box "Would you like to make Internet Explorer your default web browser?"
8. Click Yes.
To set Opera as default web browser
1. Start Opera.
2. On the Tools menu, click Preferences.
3. The Preferences dialog box will open in a new window.
4. Click the Advanced tab and then Programs.
5. Locate the check box "Check if Opera is default browser on startup" and select it.
6. Close and then restart Opera.
7. You will see the message box "Would you like to use Opera as your default application for viewing Web pages?"
8. Click Yes.
To set Safari as default web browser
1. Start Safari.
2. Click the cog-wheel icon on the browser toolbar and then Preferences. Click the below picture to see in details how to set Safari as default web browser:

3. The Preferences dialog box will open in a new window.
4. Click the General tab and then select Safari for "Default web browser."
5. Close the Preferences dialog box.
